The winery was founded in 1977 by Laurent and Rita Kox, when they took over the family’s business in order to transform it from a grape cultivating to a wine making domain. Today, under the leadership of Corinne Kox, the family has expanded the winery to 10 hectares and produces typical and atypical Mosel wines. Short macerations and low to no added sulphites for light and fresh Mosel wines.
The Kox family has been making wine for a dozen generations, but the transformation happening at this domaine as a result of Corinne’s intrepid spirit is amazing to watch. Moreover, she places a special focus on social sustainability, thus making a special effort to make top-of-the-range wines that are affordable to everyone.
